React Developer

What does your day consist of?

As a React developer at Sigbar you are part of a close team of experienced colleagues. You work for great brands where quality is always central. Not only in technology, but also in design, interaction, process and communication. We go for effective solutions that are beautiful and user friendly. Work that matters.

With us, you get the space to organize your own work. That also entails responsibilities, because it has to be a two-way street. So you are well organized and can plan your work well. Furthermore, you are analytical and can work well with others. You are always curious about new technologies and the opportunities they offer. You are an all round frontend developer and are good with React and everything around it.

What do you bring?

  • Experience with React or Vue.js
  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience with Rest and GraphQL
  • HTML5, CSS3, SASS and Webpack
  • Knowledge of Git and gitflow
  • Completed education in computer science or Multimedia

What can we offer you?

Of course we can say we have the best working atmosphere and great colleagues (is true), but all other agencies say that too. That is why we are honest and tell it like it is.

  • Working for great (international) brands
  • Opinionated colleagues
  • Good working conditions
  • Regular outings and activities
  • Space to develop yourself
  • Friday afternoon it is time for a drink and to talk about something else than work

Our job application process.

"A what? A procedure?" Yes, we know, doesn't suit us at all. Fortunately, we don't have that many procedures either. But since hiring new people is super important, we figured out a way to do it really well in Corona time anyway. Here it comes:

  1. Fill out the form below and write a nice story as motivation.
  2. We will organize a video call to find out more about you and tell you all about Sigbar. Also think in advance if you can show some code, something you are super proud of. That's much more fun for us to look at and often says more than a resume.
  3. Then we do another interview. But this time you get homework first: a fun programming assignment that you can do in the language that you think suits you best.
  4. The final step is a pair-programming afternoon. You then (virtually) hook up with two developers for three hours. This is great for you to get to know your future colleagues better and to see our work up close. Fun for us because we like to involve as many colleagues as possible in the applications. We ask them afterwards the question, "Would you hate it if we didn't hire her/him?" If they both say "yes," then we know more than enough. 😊
  5. We'll make you a great offer, we'll scribble, our friends at Deep Sea Rabbit will take a great photo, and you'll come here to have fun and make a difference.
  • Oh, and recruiters, secondment and offshoring agencies: we are very good at finding new talent ourselves. So we don't need your help and we don't want to hear from you about this vacancy.
